Frequently Asked Questions
As a general rule we charge $55 per hour, and estimates are based on how long we think it may take. Estimates may vary however depending on level of grime build up, pet fur and dander, people living or visiting frequently once we are actually in your home. If we walk in and look around and we have underestimated the time it will take, we will contact you to either discuss updated price or prioritize things you prefer cleaned in the time scheduled.
One 3 bed, 2 bath, 2000 sq foot home, with only 3 people living in it, minimal knick knacks and no pets is gonna cost differently than a house the same size with 6 people and 3 pets, with lots of knick knacks for example.
Our main cleaning solution is an all purpose cleaner made with Biokleen concentrate, a few drops of Dawn dish soap, isopropyl alcohol and water used for general wiping of surfaces.
We use Barkeepers Friend in moderation for more built-up areas such as greasy kitchens, glass stove tops and bathrooms.
We use microfiber cloths and room specific scrub daddies, with a separate one for toilets specifically. Magic erasers occasionally, and scouring sticks on surfaces that need it. We also use different brushes for things such as grout, window sills and vents.
The harshest cleaning chemical we use is Easy-Off Oven spray, only for inside of ovens with severe build up. We do not use bleach or ammonia based products for cleaning.

No, we carry all cleaning supplies necessary to take care of your home. All we need is running water and electricity! If you would prefer we use your vacuum for your home, we can do so. We understand not everyone likes the idea of a vacuum that has been in different homes in their own, but we do separate pet having homes from our non pet vacuums.
Yes, we clean apartments of all sizes including studios!
There isn't an exact time estimate we can give since different homes contain varying combinations of knick knacks, windows, types of surfaces, living configurations. Showers without handheld shower heads for example, will take longer to rinse vs. one with a handheld shower head.
We can only give a best time estimate given our previous experience.
We've been in hundreds of homes over the past 4 years and still haven't cracked the code for time estimation.
We will use whatever cleaning products you prefer as long as you are supplying them and include what products you will be supplying when booking. We will do research to make sure we use those products for their intended purposes.
